Belgium National Day

21 July 2023 23 July 2023

Belgian National Day – 21st July 2023

To celebrate Belgian National Day we are putting on plenty of fantastic Belgium beers on draught, as well as bringing in a new specials menu!

On draught we will have:Chimay 7 – 7%: The Chimay Red is the oldest of the Chimays. Its coppery colour and sweet, fruity taste make it a particularly tasty dark ale. (Available in 33cl)

Chimay 9 – 9%: A dark Trappist beer, with a powerful aroma. Its complex flavour improves with the passing of time. (Available in 33cl)

Delirium Red – 7.5%: This is a dark, deep red colour with a pink-laced head. The aroma is soft and fruity with hints of almond and mild cherry. It has a sweet and fruity taste but is perfectly balanced between sweet and sour. (Available in 1/2 pints)

Chouffe Soleil – 6%: Made from a blend of malted barley, wheat and rye, Soleil reveals the sweet aroma of elderflower and chamomile. Delicious citrus flavours – mandarin and lime – enhanced with a touch of vanilla and peppery notes, titillate your taste buds. Both radiant and slightly cloudy, Soleil can be enjoyed all year round. (Available in 25cl or 33cl)

Blanche De Bruxelles (Lefebvre) – 4.5%: Replacing Weihenstaphaner for the week.Known as ‘Belgium’s best wit beer’, it has notes of lemon barley, orange and coriander as well as a luxurious full body. (Available in 33cl or Pints)

We are also offering flight boards of 3 Belgium Beers in each style, for example if you were to select the blonde trio, you would receive one bottle of each: Averbode, Achel Blond and one new special bottle.
